2023年10月30日，双方因土地边界问题发生争吵，刘某某将卓玛推倒造成卓玛受伤住院，花费医疗费四千余元。医疗结束，原告卓玛要求被告刘某某赔偿，经镇人民调解委员会多次调解，双方在赔偿问题上未能达成一致意见，原告卓玛诉来法院。

了解案情后，考虑到案件系邻里纠纷，又涉及老年人，承办法官便邀约了当地司法所工作人员一起前往当事人家中尝试进行联合调解。
