2008年洪雅县被中国食品工业协会认定为“中国藤椒之乡”，全县藤椒种植面积3.5万亩。县内规模化藤椒加工企业6家，幺麻子是全国最大的藤椒油生产企业，全国市场占有率80%以上。制定的《花椒调味油规范》是国际首个花椒调味油领域标准。全县藤椒年综合产值7.5亿元，产量1.05万吨。
