在我县，有一个藏在深山里的古镇——高庙古镇。高庙古镇东临峨眉山，西连玉屏山，北望川西平原。这里有高山流水，也有质朴的古街小巷。这里不被人熟知，但又非常有韵味，处处弥漫着历史遗留的韵味。因而，这个地方也被称作为四川仅存的未被过度开发的古镇之一。不仅如此，这里的村民民风也是非常的淳朴。据说到现在为止，古镇还保留着夜不闭户的风俗。

很多人对于米花糖的最初记忆是小时候和外婆在一起的时光，高庙的手工传统米花糖非常有名，几乎是家家必备的小吃。用糯米、花生、红糖、猪油等简单的食材手工炒制的米花糖，即使藏在游客罕至的老街深处，也仍然能被食客们发掘出来。

所谓“水为酒之血”“好水酿好酒”说的就是水源对酿酒的重要意义，这也是高庙白酒出名的原因。古法制酒的步骤很繁复，不仅对原材料非常挑剔，就连温度和时间手法都有准确的要求，但制作高庙白酒的酒厂还是坚持着纯手工酿造，厂里的每一个师傅，也都对白酒的酿造过程烂熟于心。

洪雅的古镇各有千秋，一镇一特色。国庆期间，古镇上的活动也是丰富多彩。从成都出发，经成乐高速转遂资眉高速，再沿着大峨眉国际旅游西环线，一路便可到达洪雅柳江古镇、高庙古镇，车程大约3小时左右。
